Life in Bloomfield: November 2009
http://lifeinbloomfield.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
November 30, 2009. This brought happy tears to my eyes. I love the little videos the Mormon church has been posting on their website lately. This one just made me happy. We all have so much to be grateful for. I am grateful for:. A very patient and down to Earth husband. A daughter that teaches me to be better each day. A son who really enjoys each day of life and who loves me more than anyone else :). Parents who have strong testimonies that they live each day. A house that feels like home. In Vegas for...

Life is Beautiful: March 2014
http://chantrysix.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
We are busy with our growing kids, but life couldn't be better! Monday, March 24, 2014. Yesterday, our discussion in the Beehive class at church was "What is grace? I liked this definition at the beginning of the discussion outline. Comes because of the same Atonement that helps us overcome sin and death. 33 And again, if ye by the grace of God are perfect in Christ, and deny not his power, then are ye sanctified in Christ by the grace of God, through the shedding of the blood of Christ, which is in the ...

Life in Bloomfield: October 2010
http://lifeinbloomfield.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
October 20, 2010. Drumroll please . . . It's a Girl! I'm a month late on this, but here are the details of the birth of our very precious Clara Ann. She is such a doll and we all love her to pieces (sometimes literally). I think Bowe and Ava could kiss her a million times a day. Time surely does fly. Now for the fun stuff and enough of my ramblings. On to some pictures . . . One Week Old with Big Sis. 3 weeks old with Nana. 1st smile - 5 weeks old. That's all for now! October 7, 2010. Peaches in the can.

Life in Bloomfield: February 2011

February 1, 2011. Ava and Clara both have strep. We are working our way through antibiotics to kick this. I'm wondering if we were or are all infected and just don't have many symptoms. I have discovered that the more kids you have the more often everyone is SICK! I hope that's not true for everyone. We're doing OK though. Even baby Clara is handling it so well. She really is the most content, happy, easy going baby. I love that girl. She even calms me down. Visiting the North Pole. Making gingerbread ho...

October 26, 2009. Erin gave me some good advice, "stop worrying about catching up on the past, just post what's happening now." I still feel I owe a quick recap. So here a few pictures from our recent activities. We get to use Mom and Dad's boat while they're away on their mission. It was one of my favorite things to do this Summer with my family. My baby girl turned 4. She is growing up so fast! My little bud turned 2! The family went to a Red Wing's Baseball game. We sat right behind home base....Ava b...

Life in Bloomfield: June 2009
http://lifeinbloomfield.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
June 3, 2009. Now that it's June, let's catch up on May. I absolutely love good weather. I don't know why I live in a place where we only have 61 sunny days. No lie! I just looked it up. Sunny cities really do have happier people. Just to compare that to something, Phoenix, AZ has 211 sunny days. That being said, we New Yorkers love it when the sun peaks out again in Spring. This was taken in PA before we went to church on Mother's Day. Ava rode with Grandpa in the parade. Ava had a great time waving...

Life in Bloomfield: May 2010
http://lifeinbloomfield.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
May 27, 2010. Our trip to Utah. I'm kidding of course. They were very fun and took great care of us. Here are some of the highlights. Plane Ride - the kids were excellent. I was only slightly nervous and Bowe and Ava made things go really smoothly. We spent a day at the Dinosaur museum at Thanksgiving Point. Free ice cream for kids! UT has the best family deals. Bowe tried bubble gum ice cream and loved it. I think he mostly liked it because it was blue. Cousins and second cousins. And Finally (if you're...

March 15, 2010. What's up with the Hawkins? Hello friends and family. Thanks for checking in on us. The Hawkins family is doing well. Our addition is coming along really well. We're on schedule to finish and move into the new part of the house this Summer. I've added some pictures of our progress below. Todd does it all. He even lifts entire walls by himself. My strong, hansome hero. The West side of the addition. Another addition is in the works. This is the fake hill Todd built with the backhoe. We...

February 12, 2009. Trip to Utah and Family News! We went to Utah! We had so much fun with the Evans family. There is tons of stuff to do in Salt Lake. I forget what it's like to live in a city. We found so many cheap or free things to do. Ava's favorite thing was swimming at the neighborhood Rec center. There was even a waterslide! Bowe was a little hesitant, but eventually wandered around on his own. Bowe's favorite thing was the ski-ball. He kept chucking the balls up and saying "Ball! We walked to the...
