A summer spent in Newport and other places around the beautiful state of Oregon. Friday, July 29, 2011. Living Life to the Fullest. Last weekend was by far one of the most action-packed weekends that I’ve had since arriving in Oregon. Friday night I left Newport from a long and tiring week out in the field prepared to take on the weekend full of gusto. Friday night, Stephanie, Tim, and I headed to Downward Dog. Again to take advantage of their OSU (Oregon State University). Every Day is an Adventure.

Monday, April 13, 2009. I would not call my self a restaurant connoisseur by any means, however I have had an amazing experience at Aqua Seafood Restaurant and Bar. The food is not only delectable, but is stunningly presented and matched with a superb wine and drink list. Monday, April 6, 2009. Alsea Falls Recreation Area is next to the South Fork Alsea River, in a lush coastal forest of red cedars, maples, and Douglas firs. The recreation area has 22 picnic tables, 16 campsites, hiking trails, and an outstanding view of Alsea Falls.
