Back In Business | Drive Through Foodie
https://drivethroughfoodie.wordpress.com/2012/12/11/back-in-business
You’re at the best WordPress.com site ever. My 3 day weekend flew by. I’m back to work, with my nose to the grindstone. We have apparently decided to skip fall, so after an extended summer, have gone straight to winter. Brrrr! I see that time is slipping away from me again, so I guess I’d better go if I want to get anything done before work. So flip on over to the “double shot lunch”, and maybe I’ll see you in the drive through. Newer Entry →. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here.
Gourmet vs Gor-meh | Drive Through Foodie
https://drivethroughfoodie.wordpress.com/2012/12/13/gourmet-vs-gor-meh
You’re at the best WordPress.com site ever. Yesterday’s drive through lunch was courtesy of Jimmy John’s Gourmet Sandwiches. I’ve had JJ’s before, and liked it well enough, but was a bit disappointed with yesterday’s fair: the JJBLT. (Noticed the bacon trend? Anyway, to sum up, too much iceberg lettuce, and not nearly enough bacon. Had a much better version from Whimpey’s, for way less $, I might add. For this type of sandwich, the consumer would get a better deal from Subway. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

By regular, I mean, Irish potato, not the Sweet Potato variety that they also offer. Their regular fries and batter dipped and crispy. YUM! Newer Entry →. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. About | Drive Through Foodie
https://drivethroughfoodie.wordpress.com/about
You’re at the best WordPress.com site ever. I eat fast food. Way too much fast food. The places that I blog about will all meet the following criteria:. An actual drive-through must be present. The food must be driving friendly. Face it, there are just some things that cannot safely be eaten while doing 65 down the interstate. The food must taste good, and be reasonably priced. Also, since I currently reside in Central Arkansas, the places I blog about will also be there. Suggestions are welcome.

Sermons, Musings and Amusings by Michael Jennings. I Am the Resurrection and the Life. Saving, Sending, & Blessing →. April 30, 2013 · 09:53. Who Are We to Hinder God? If then God gave them the same gift that he gave us when we believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I that I could hinder God? Sometimes I’ll hear people say something like, I wish we could be like the early church. If only our church was like the church we read about in the New Testament, everything would be okay. Well, you know what?
While We Still Were Sinners | Sermons, Musings & Amusings by Michael Jennings

Sermons, Musings and Amusings by Michael Jennings. Saving, Sending, & Blessing. May 15, 2013 · 16:44. While We Still Were Sinners. God shows his love for us, because while we were still sinners Christ died for us. William Barclay, the late Scottish New Testament scholar, begins his commentary on this passage of scripture with these words: Here is one of Paul’s great lyrical passages in which he almost sings the intimate joy of his confidence in God. What does this mean for us? Justification also gives us...

Sermons, Musings and Amusings by Michael Jennings. Newer posts →. April 3, 2013 · 09:21. Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here, but has risen. Paul, in his first letter to the church at Corinth, probably says it best: If Christ has not been raised, then our proclamation has been in vain and your faith has been in vain. And there is more to the cross than the fact that someone was crucified. Lots and lots of people were crucified just watch the movie Spartacus. Quoting Paul again, ...

Sermons, Musings and Amusings by Michael Jennings. Who Are We to Hinder God? While We Still Were Sinners →. May 8, 2013 · 08:45. Saving, Sending, & Blessing. There was once a little boy who decided to run away from home. He packed his suitcase with some Twinkies and a six-pack of root beer, and set out on his journey. The two of them sat on that bench all afternoon, eating Twinkies, drinking root beer, and smiling, but neither of them ever said a word. The boy replied, I had lunch in the park with God!

Dispatches from the opposite side of the drive through window. Swearing at Customers, Part I. 23 October 2012 by drivethroughguy. Today I swore at a customer. I do this all the time, but usually they can’t tell because my microphone is off and they can’t see or hear me. This time was unique because the customer was at the drive through window, the window was open, and I was deliberately swearing at him during a conversation. The conversation follows.
