http://principlefitness.blogspot.com/2007_08_01_archive.html
Eric's Training, Racing and Other Fun Stuff. Sunday, August 19, 2007. Who would have guessed he was a figure skater? Was today. Definitely one the most funnest-est courses we race on. It has a bit of everything: rocks, roots, logs, steep climbs, steady climbs, fast descents. Had broken a chain. Frank helped him fix it. Apparently, he used to figure skate. Go figure. See Video. Seriously, it was him. Pitched camp afterward and Frank "Did Nap". After not running much since Columbia because of a nagging inj...

Whit on the Road. A 'round the country trip to see trains (a few), planes, automobiles and friends. Saturday, December 22, 2007. December 15 - GRAND FINALE. For the first time, on this trip’s last leg, I had a passenger! Leslie is a high-end real estate broker and someone with whom I have a great time doing fun things here in NYC. We first met about ten years ago through friends. Through Hartford, with Trinity College chapel in the distance and dirty snow on the road. The last fuel stop of the trip!

Whit on the Road. A 'round the country trip to see trains (a few), planes, automobiles and friends. Saturday, November 17, 2007. November 14 - Eau Claire and the Car Show There. I arrived at my Aunt Marion’s in Eau Claire about 10:00 pm The drive from Oshkosh took close to four hours, mostly on secondary roads. In Wisconsin, at night, it can get VERY DARK indeed! Marion provided a warm welcome, although she was hobbling around. Earlier that day, she had wrenched her left knee badly. We stopped at Starbuc...

Whit on the Road. A 'round the country trip to see trains (a few), planes, automobiles and friends. Friday, November 9, 2007. November 9 - The Henry Ford. The Henry Ford Museum was more of a cultural institution than I'd imagined, containing furniture, tools, and other quotidian elements of American life from throughout the 20th Century and before. And a lot of good demonstrative exhibits relating to womens rights. The aircraft collection was a bit cramped, and the planes somehow didn't get me too excite...
