Teaching and parenting, at the same time! November 20, 2014. Every once in a while, I get to experience a day just for me. Today is one of those days. I get to spend the entire day at our local board office, learning about emerging technologies and playing with standard tech in new ways. It’s like a play day for the computer geeks in our board. Why is it that the education field has not yet made basic technical skill mandatory? And why are senior teachers so reluctant to try new things? Ahhhh July →.

Turns out I was stressing about trying to not think about the fall, while I was thinking about the fall. But on Thursdays I’ll glory in planning organizational systems and lesson planning and searching Pinterest for ideas for my interactive math notebooks, and rethinking my community space and….
