http://gigglesandraspberries.blogspot.com/2015/05/so-you-get-up.html
Thursday, May 7, 2015. And, then it hits you. And, it sucks. So, you get up. Rush to the bus stop with computer and gym bag in hand. Work at 5am while commuting on the bus. Get to work and head to the company gym for (traditional) yoga class. Back to cubicle for non-stop"fun.". Eat salad while working. Catch bus - ALMOST miss connector that will truly take you home. Sit down, log in - ready to work some more. Put off working so that you can browse FB and DDPY. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Giggles ...

http://gigglesandraspberries.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Friday, August 8, 2014. Where is my voice? I miss it. I don't know where it has gone. I just don't know. There is so much to write, and I don't want to forget any awesome thing that the boys have done or miss any picture that I've taken. But I just can't seem to share it. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Giggles and Raspberries: THE BOYS' FIRST SYMPHONY
http://gigglesandraspberries.blogspot.com/2014/11/the-boys-first-symphony.html
Saturday, November 15, 2014. THE BOYS' FIRST SYMPHONY. I was offered four free tickets to the symphony. I figured it was a perfect time to test whether or not the boys are ready for The Nutcracker. So, over dinner, I told the boys that I had tickets for Friday, and Peanut about choked on his food from the excitement. Bub: “I don’t think it’s what you think it is, buddy.”. Peanut: “Isn’t it where they have all the instruments and the play music on the stage? Bub (defeated): “Yeah……”. We didn't stay for th...

Giggles and Raspberries: WHO THE HELL DO I THINK I AM?
http://gigglesandraspberries.blogspot.com/2014/11/who-hell-do-i-think-i-am.html
Monday, November 17, 2014. WHO THE HELL DO I THINK I AM? A couple of weeks ago, a guy got on the State Street bus and gave his sob story to the driver. “My wallet was stolen. I don’t have any change. [Insert a couple more excuses here.] I've got to get to work. Can I just get a ride? And, it was the 1st day of the month – perfect timing, right? And, then I stopped. And I mentally kicked myself in the head. Who am I to judge this guy? Who the hell told me that I was so bloody important? So, in my new posi...

Giggles and Raspberries: November 2014
http://gigglesandraspberries.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 23, 2014. DAY OF THE DEAD. We haven’t been to church for a while – the whole summer, in fact. This doesn’t bother me or Bub. It definitely doesn’t bother Peanut. He has no use for church at this point. Fine. We are good people. We don’t hurt others. We are teaching our kids the same. So, when he says that he wants to go to church because he likes the people there, I will do everything I can to make it happen for him. Great Let’s go. The choir (and the kooky pianist) did an awesome number...

Giggles and Raspberries: July 2013
http://gigglesandraspberries.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 24, 2013. I have very high expectations – of myself, of others, of the world, of processes, of nature. It’s been mentioned by one very important person that my expectations are just too high. Of course, I don’t think so. In fact, I usually think that other people’s expectations are just too low and that’s why we live in a society that allows and supports mediocrity. Why, though, are they unrealistic? And, why does it bother me so much? Why should I have to alter them? It’s not like ...

Giggles and Raspberries: THE GREAT PANTY DEBACLE OF 2015
http://gigglesandraspberries.blogspot.com/2015/04/the-great-panty-debacle-of-2014.html
Friday, April 17, 2015. THE GREAT PANTY DEBACLE OF 2015. I have a pile of laundry in the “computer room” which is less of a computer room and more my laundry room. My laundry gets put away – sometimes. The room is a disaster. Full-on, absolute disaster. It probably puts Bub over the edge every time she walks in there to drop off more of my laundry. You know – the kind that you own when you’ve been married for a couple of years but eventually give up as you (and your body) age (meaning get fat). Then, I f...

Giggles and Raspberries: April 2013
http://gigglesandraspberries.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 19, 2013. A good read - a classic. I just finished reading Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte. Usually, when something is very wordy, I get bored and frustrated. (I don't STOP - I finish what I start! This book, written in 1846, was definitely wordy, but it caught my attention, for sure. For its time, it was probably a steamy romance, but definitely not compared to today's standards. There was a love triangle, but it was not. I'm having a hard time describing it! Sounds like my dad! Haunt th...

Giggles and Raspberries: October 2013
http://gigglesandraspberries.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 27, 2013. Just because I'm depressed and miserable doesn't mean that everyone is a mess. The boys have been cheering me up all year long with their funny characteristics and hilarious things that they say:. Meatball: Mom, after I am Pac Man for Halloween this year, I'm going to be a kitty next year and a wrecking ball the next next year! Oh my Gawd. Is that supposed to be sexy? Peanut: Well, I think it's sexy! Me: Oh, really? Exactly what do you think is sexy about that? Peanut has inform...
