CMDR Charybdis: January 2015
http://cmdrcharybdis.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Navigating the dangers of space to join the Elite. Friday, January 16. Galactic oddities - eaten alive. It seems you don't have to go much further than your galactic backyard, so to speak, to find something strange going on. Dropping in on Ross 780, only a few parsecs from Sol, I was greeted with this spectacular oddity. Eaten alive just about covers it. Sunday, January 11. Just noticed this welcome enhancement to trade items on the commodity trading screen. Saturday, January 10. GalNet RSS feed added.

CMDR Charybdis: The littlest nebula
http://cmdrcharybdis.blogspot.com/2015/07/the-littlest-nebula.html
Navigating the dangers of space to join the Elite. Thursday, July 9. One last item piqued my interest on the way back. NGC 6153 is a curiosity, of that there's no doubt. There are enough explorers out there now to make a search for the origin of this star will happen, at least in breadth of the galaxy if not in depth. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Exploration promotion - Data analysis. The Pillars of Creation. Roll up, roll up! Game sites and links. A Change Of Plans. Blog de la Burro. Guild Wars...

CMDR Charybdis: February 2015
http://cmdrcharybdis.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Navigating the dangers of space to join the Elite. Saturday, February 28. Searching for buried treasure in the backyard. The combat has intensified since I was last here. Two really very minor factions are having an argument about authoritarian or democratic influence as the way forward. Laser bolts and hot metal are exchanged where once it had been words. Still at least they're having a civil war. I'm fairly sure the words were harsher. Sunday, February 22. The grinding of teeth - part II. Trouble can s...

CMDR Charybdis: April 2015
http://cmdrcharybdis.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Navigating the dangers of space to join the Elite. Tuesday, April 28. The conflicted mercenary and the tail of the tiger. I didn't think they'd trust me. Certainly not at first given my somewhat chequered and difficult past. Now there's an understatement if I ever heard one, even though I'm only telling myself that crock of. spin. At least that particular turn of phrase is running more easily through my mind, and I might soon start to believe it. Only two jumps from the carnage I left behind in Kui Hsien...

CMDR Charybdis: June 2015
http://cmdrcharybdis.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
Navigating the dangers of space to join the Elite. Saturday, June 27. The exploration through Phroi Pri sector revealed some surprises. Just past the largest black hole at the centre of the galaxy, up a bit and over to the left. The high density of ordinary stars are heavily dusted with compact, hot and dangerous neutron stars. I found myself on the edge of this field after a sideways hop from Sagittarius A*. To another nearby black hole with a GRS designation, coordinates provided by a fellow explorer.

Promotion jumped from Pathfinder(54%) to Ranger (67%). Start date: 10th June 3301. Returned on: 8th July 3301. While I'...

CMDR Charybdis: The escort home
http://cmdrcharybdis.blogspot.com/2015/07/the-escort-home.html
Navigating the dangers of space to join the Elite. Thursday, July 9. A favourite pastime of explorers is the canyon run. Something that seems to draw us like moths to a flame. The rules are simple enough to comprehend and, with a data bank full of exploration data, the risk can also be high. There are brave and smart ways to run the canyon. But many more stupid ones as well. A few are even unlucky. It always helps to have something to aim for. Trying to kill your friends isn't one of them though. I used ...

CMDR Charybdis: March 2015
http://cmdrcharybdis.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Navigating the dangers of space to join the Elite. Sunday, March 29. The galaxy serves up a surprise every now and again. Thousands of commanders. Tens of thousands of systems and stations. A massive distraction from credits earned and the usual scream of tortured boost capacitors. A serious upgrade to your display capabilities is offered for the return of some old tech that is almost 1300 years out of date. Quite oxidised and beyond functional by now I'm sure. I've already found the haystack. Both facti...

CMDR Charybdis: The Pillars of Creation
http://cmdrcharybdis.blogspot.com/2015/07/the-pillars-of-creation.html
Navigating the dangers of space to join the Elite. Thursday, July 9. The Pillars of Creation. Having seen a fair few number of water worlds and Earth like planets so far, it still surprises me that there is a tug at the heart strings when I find another. A glimpse at the possibilities, the opportunities, and the paths that life might take. There is no lack of interesting things to find out here. The scientists are always keen to obtain more information and run comparisons since the last visit by an explo...

CMDR Charybdis: May 2015
http://cmdrcharybdis.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Navigating the dangers of space to join the Elite. Sunday, May 31. Federation President Halsey is missing. It very much depends on who you listen to, or want to believe. Factions within the Federation are each telling wildly different stories; with an investigation that seems to lead to more questions being asked than answered. So I have to go there to investigate on my own. They can't find the ship. The system is huge. Azaleach B and C stars glimmer faintly, orbiting each other and barely visible at...
