Thoughts of a meandering mind. An effort to blend my thoughts, perception and experience into a kaleidoscopic fabric. Friday, April 29, 2005. You could call it providence or co-incidence, the last two weeks have been witness to a fair amount of discussions related to relocation-pangs and relocation-euphoria. It all started with my Dad informing me about their transfer from Delhi to Goa! My first reaction was 'Wow . That's great! But a bubble can't last longer than a couple of seconds. Even after having g...

Monday, September 10, 2007. Unknown faces let you know. It is strange how our society has evolved in a manner where it is often unknown faces and voices that end up giving us more information than people around us. Take the instance of bloggers. I remember a time, not long ago, when google groups was my first lookup to find solutions to technical issues, but now I regularly find myself surfing blogs hosted on msdn, officezealot and blogger. Sunday, February 12, 2006. Medicinal value of Grapes. Medicinal value of Grapes. After a long time, I purchased Red seedless grapes from a Safeway store. Out of curiosity, I looked up the web for benefits of eating grapes and here is a compilation of the same. Eating Red Grapes cuts the risk of cancer. Red grapes are rich in flavonoids – a group of organic compounds made of water-soluble plant pigments. Chemicals in grapes can help thin the blood, preventing clots that provoke heart attacks and strokes.

Thoughts of a meandering mind. An effort to blend my thoughts, perception and experience into a kaleidoscopic fabric. Thursday, March 31, 2005. In today's Economic Times mentions about the shrinking renumeration figures for fresh engineering graduates and contrasts it to the rising salaries of IT professionals with 2-6 years experience. While it is true that experienced people expect more salary, it is equally true that at times employers also expect a lot in return from experienced IT pros. Performance ...

Thoughts of a meandering mind. An effort to blend my thoughts, perception and experience into a kaleidoscopic fabric. Sunday, February 17, 2002. Came across this beautiful, heart-touching poem in the local newsgroup! As I sat there in English class,. I stared at the girl next to me. She was my so called 'best friend'. I stared at her long, silky hair,. And wished she was mine. But she didn't notice me like that,. And I knew it. After class,. She walked up to me and asked me for. I handed them to her.

Sunday, March 08, 2009. Little things do matter. Little things can make the difference between second and second to none. Heard this on a game show where Jeanette Lee pocketed 12 balls in one single shot! A study of that shot explained that even a difference of a millimeter could have caused failure. This is a strong and inspiring living example of mastery over one's pursuit. It would be amazing if we can all achieve that level of perfection in our professions by attending to the details of our work.

Thoughts of a meandering mind. An effort to blend my thoughts, perception and experience into a kaleidoscopic fabric. Sunday, February 27, 2005. Aaj, Khush To Bahut Hoge Tum. Yesterday the winners of the 50th Filmfare Awards were announced in a glittering ceremony that was telecasted on one of the several movie channels. I just forgot about watching the show on TV and went early to bed after a long and tiring day. While Rani got it for. Whatever other critics say, I think both deserved the awards.
