There doesn't seem to be much information. popular magazine don't need to advertise themselves with merchandise, they have websites and advertisements online and on billboards etc. As a new magazine I could expand my brand with merchandise such as wesites, ipod apps, designers kits etc. These ranges reflect my chosen colour scheme and could be possible products for my range of inspire products. Large range with consistent brand identity.

Tuesday, 24 May 2011. Stationary sets that I found were mainly aimed towards children and teenagers at school. The stationary range that I will produce needs to be more mature appealing to a wider market of both young and professional designers. Simple numbering keeps the pack together. Tuesday, 24 May 2011. Magazine - Layout Analysis. This layout makes good use of white space and makes the eye flow from page to page with lines flowing. Just the right amount of information, not too much to be daunting to read. Beautiful spacial awareness. Image reflects darkness of the type. Neat and clear layout. Small font makes it look like there is less to read. Transparent stock gives the layout dimension. Title page: font is quite dark and not delicate like beauty would normally be associated with.

Tuesday, 24 May 2011. Creative Review is a well known exception to the standard A4 size. It is square to stand out from the crowd. I find the size quite hard to hold whilst reading and also I found that it could also get lost amongst the other taller magazines. Because of its stunted height it is not as prominent on the shelf. Wednesday, 9 February 2011. Design Decisions - Imagery. Catwalk high fashion imagery. Imagery relating to Fashionising.com. Because the title sequence I am making is for the website itself, I thought it would be more logical and relevant to use existing images from their 'Trends for 2011' section.
