Generates its levels from the music you load into it. Therefore all the bumps match the waveform of the song itself. Aside from that, we just had the whole thing spiral inward to represent being in the groove of a vinyl record. To tackle making a path that seems to wander I started with a steering behavior. Friday, April 26, 2013. Real Time Graphics Asg12. Check out my shadows, yo. This assignment was easier than I was expecting. The thing I had the most trouble with, even after questioning it in class and discussing it with Chris, was how the fragment from the shadow map could possibly correlate to the projected view. It wasn't until I wrote the shader and saw what values we were actually comparing that I realized how it worked. Anyway, here's my shadow map. Here's the source code. Monday, April 22, 2013.

Monday, October 14, 2013. When has that ever worked? Hopefully we'll have a working installer we can send out to appease the masses by tomorrow. Design, Communication and Faculty. In addition to that, the art side of of our team has fallen behind due to lack of communicating our needs. With both of those combined, every member of the team had a different idea of what the game was supposed to be, which became painfully obvious when it came time to present to the faculty last week.

Thursday, November 15, 2012. Project 3 Post Mortem: Shoshone. Overall the project went smoothly, no real complaints. Sunday, November 11, 2012. We also changed up the overworld quite a bit, but most of that was all talk and no implementation. We went from a CastleVille style world to some other stuff to finally just a simple world to tie the mini games together that is fun to explore. I'm not sure how fun it is to really wander yet since we just barely got the final art, but it should be good.
