Mommy Patriot: February 2011
http://lindsey-mommypatriot.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Friday, February 11, 2011. I've been subscribing to "Family Fun" for about seven years now. It's definitely one of my favorite magazines to look through and gather tons of fun ideas (that in reality, we've only gotten to do a handful of). But, last week was different. I was thumbing through looking for Valentine's Day ideas and we were snowed in. I stumbled aross this easy recipe and thought I would pass it along:. 1 Punch shapes from tortillas with cookie cutters. 3 Bake at 400* for about 5 minutes.

Mommy Patriot: March 2012

Friday, March 16, 2012. I tucked my eight year old boy in bed for the last time tonight. When he wakes up in the morning, he'll be nine. He wears a 5 1/2 size shoe (I can wear them) and he comes up to my armpit in height. I barely have to bend down to kiss the top of his sweet, sweaty head. No denying it, he's growing up. His eighth year has been so good to him and I pray that nine is equally good, if not better! Here's what he's done since 3-17-2011:. Discovered his love for baseball. You're an All-Star...

Sunday, December 19, 2010. Grown Up Christmas List. When I was sharing this story with my husband, he simply replied, "That little girl is going to grow up to be such a neat person. Her parents have already done such a wonderful job of raising a selfless individual. She'll always have the memory of looking back and remembering the year she was able to provide everyone with a gift.". Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Pennies on a Platter. Teaching Tuck and Ty. Mommy Patriot: November 2010

Wednesday, November 24, 2010. Over the River and Through the Woods. As a child, Thanksgiving always meant driving to Kansas City to my grandma and grandpa's house. The moment we walked in the front door, we were greeted by Grandma, Grandpa and their poodle with plenty of hugs, kisses, cheek pinching and tail wagging. Soon after, I would take my bag down the hall to the "Pink Bedroom" that was reserved for me. Remember how I said Grandma was a teacher? Yes Did we love it? Yes (well, at least I did.) B...

Mommy Patriot: July 2011

Friday, July 15, 2011. Take Me Out to the Ballgame. There's something about summertime and the ballpark. The lights, the smell of grass and dirt and cheering on our boys as they learn how to play America's Favorite Pastime. The season started around Easter and since May, our family has been living at the ballfields. Two, sometimes three, games a week. I've feasted on more nachos than I care to admit and have learned that bug spray is a necessity. Dad and I are so proud of you! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Mommy Patriot: April 2011
http://lindsey-mommypatriot.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 13, 2011. Home" has several meanings to me. Meaning 1: Home is where I grew up. The greatest sports city in the world.St. Louis. Home of the St. Louis Cardinals (ok, ok.so our year has gotten off to a rough start), the St. Louis Blues and the St. Louis Rams (SuperBowl Champions). So when people ask where I'm from, I always say St. Louis. And my old twin bed is in one of the guest rooms. I don't care where Mom and Dad live. That will always be home to me. I love you girlies! Or how you as...
