As a charitable trust the Mayfield and District Lions evolved to serve our communities, and the Mount Somers Bike Race has contributed significantly to our ability to do just that. In the 8 years since the event began we’ve raised $150,000 for organisations including local schools, sports clubs, scouts, individuals in need, and, of course, the major recipient of our fundraising efforts, Ronald McDonald House.
