If you missed the recent announcement from CREE about their latest product release then it's worth a read now. Read the whole story here. With a world leading manufacturer like CREE it won't surprise anyone to learn that Earlsmann. Street light with gull wing lens - this takes account of power supply and lens losses. For the bare COB, at 800mA, the CREE published figure is around 24lm/W.

Friday, 30 May 2014. Indoor Tennis Court Lighting. I’ve recently come across a rather novel way of lighting indoor courts which I think worth sharing as it is very effective and very cost effective. One solution is obviously to simply replace the tubes with LED but this would mean rewiring each fitting and cleaning the diffusers.
