The Lorax: Blog #10: How we can make a difference

Animals and Their Habitats. Sunday, March 29, 2015. Blog #10: How we can make a difference. So lately I’ve been thinking about a couple ways that we could spread the word. After what we have talked about in class the past few days and about the consumers and how we act on the environment doesn’t help it got me to thinking. And again when I went to print something the other day and how paper and wood and trees are used everywhere. Here are a couple ideas (some might have been mentioned before so beware).

The Lorax: Energetics, or test number five in your Principles of Biology class

Animals and Their Habitats. Monday, March 2, 2015. Energetics, or test number five in your Principles of Biology class. Mitchell, in his essay Carbon Democracy. It is interesting to bring up how alternative forms of energy would fall into these political processes. Would a new group of people gain power and importance, or would those companies already at the top keep their hold on the market? March 7, 2015 at 1:38 PM. March 28, 2015 at 7:13 AM. Animals and Their Habitats. Sunday, February 15, 2015. Lesotho and Honduras (but mostly Lesotho). February 19, 2015 at 8:55 PM. This is a great summary of what we talked about in class! It definitely helps clarify what the concept of political ecology is. Have you heard of any other communities who were effected by this? Im sure a lot of what we know about different communities leaves out vital political information for understanding the reality of what is going on. February 26, 2015 at 1:44 PM. To start...

The Lorax: Individual Inquiry #3: The Precautionary Principle
http://loraxsspeakingforthetrees.blogspot.com/2015/04/individual-inquiry-3-precautionary.html
Animals and Their Habitats. Monday, April 13, 2015. Individual Inquiry #3: The Precautionary Principle. I think that the precautionary principle is a good thing and could benefit us if we have enough people on board with it and helping everything/everyone out in carrying it forward. When I think of climate change it worries me and kind of scares me thinking of the future so it is the perfect time to let people know about this principle. Or at least start to if anything. Meltups: Burger King = Fly zapper (and things about slow violence)

Connecting People To Power. Nuclear Energy and Japan. Sunday, April 26, 2015. Burger King = Fly zapper (and things about slow violence). What is it that allows leaders of industry to talk and think so nonchalantly about harming other humans’ living spaces? Why is it we are so drawn to fantastical imagery of graphic violence but ignore those that cannot be seen? About a girl getting a nasty note for having a handicap permit because she didn’t look handicap, she can walk! Nixon says storytelling. I am ...

Animals and Their Habitats. Sunday, March 29, 2015. My Second Favorite Store At The Mall. Wasn't because the native tribes deforested the area; there is little evidence supporting the area as forested at the same time as human habitation. So what gives? There must be some reason found in nature for the prairies continued survival. PS my favorite mall store is Barnes and Noble. I love books. Blog #10: How we can make a difference.
