Thursday, July 30, 2009. 160;I was supposed to get a simple blood draw and an EKG done. Total time maybe 30 minutes. That turned into another 9 hr day. My red cells were low and I needed to 2 pints of blood which took a while. Looking forward to this Tuesday. Where its going to be another 8 hr day. Laying in a bed and getting blood draws every hour. I just realized that I talk about my sickness but with no background it hard to see all the stuff I've been through. . 160;He told me is was very curable cancer and we can do this, I said OK lets do it. It was very scary to be told that you have cancer. I did treatment in New Orleans for 6 months and at that point it was determined. That I needed a bone marrow/stem cell transplant so I went to M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. On my 16 th. August 14, 2009 at 2:50 PM.
