The Chronicles of Garnabus: October 2006
http://garnabus.blogspot.com/2006_10_01_archive.html
The Chronicles of Garnabus. Thursday, October 26, 2006. Ginger loves to play tag =o). I did discover that she eventually gets a little frustrated when she can't predict what side I'll come out on - she gives a cute little grunt of exasperation (then I know I've tricked her too many times and I let her win). Posted by Garnabus @ 10:49 PM. Wednesday, October 25, 2006. OH was a good trip overall. but not without it's difficulties. I arrived a day later, to a frazzled and stressed Fuego. Since she then calle...

Radish Knits: April 2007
http://radishknits.blogspot.com/2007_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 25, 2007. I made a sock. Don't know if I'll make the other one. Not a huge fan, feel like the yarn was forced into it and the pattern didn't really highlight the attributes greatly. But Here it is. Sonya spun the yarn for me which I love. It's intention was to be sock yarn, but it's just not quite that. Oh well. I still love the simplicity and ease that is knitting socks. So compact. Posted by radishknits at 10:30 PM. Sunday, April 08, 2007. Posted by radishknits at 9:54 PM.

Radish Knits: December 2007
http://radishknits.blogspot.com/2007_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, December 27, 2007. Lots of finished things. Lots of ongoing projects. Sky was awesome enough to get me a new camera for Christmas. She was right in that at first it was like, hmmmm. New camera, eh? But so far it's been rad. Went bird watching in the north east part of the state and took some pretty incredible photos of hawks and eagles. But this blog is about knitting, and sometimes quilting. Anyhow, finished projects! Here you can see the crazy double rap around action. Santa Rosa, CA. Shelfar...

Thursday, March 06, 2008. Knits is here, but on a bit of a slow down, moving this weekend! Maybe some other photos for enjoyment. Socks finished for Tom. His birthday is tomorrow. I lost his mailing address. Learned these at Knitterly. In Petaluma. Socks on two circulars from the toe up. Search for the how to's in an old Interweave Knits magazine. Don't get dizzy looking at this scarf. Just enjoy it's pretty colors and imagine how nice it feels in organic cotton. Mmmmm. ( New Knit Scarfs. Santa Rosa, CA.

Sunday, March 18, 2007. It's been another wee while, and alas, I finally finised something that I've been working on for too many ages. Not necessarily that excited about it, but. It's the Debby Bliss Baby Hoodie. After my friend and I worked on it together we both arrived at the stage of sewing it up, and found that, wtf? Posted by radishknits at 9:46 PM. Santa Rosa, CA. View my complete profile. Knitterly, Petaluma, CA. Life as a fuego. Hat Swap Hat. Not the best photo, but wanted to. Its Hard to Do Th...

Radish Knits: January 2007
http://radishknits.blogspot.com/2007_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, January 20, 2007. Who knew I'd get into the business of knitting things for friend's friends. Well, it was fun enough knitting this little piece for Jane. Super easy. And neat effect. Got the pattern, well, the link to it, from a woman in Hood River, OR when our car got "totaled" in Madras and we ended up at the alpaca farm. And have since then ended up thinking about getting alpacas ourselves as a result. And here's a photo of Jane and her scarf. Got the yarn on sale at a cu. It's Been A While.

The Chronicles of Garnabus: September 2006
http://garnabus.blogspot.com/2006_09_01_archive.html
The Chronicles of Garnabus. Thursday, September 28, 2006. This might be a bit of a long one. it's been a while (and no, that's not a euphemism ;o). Have you ever noticed how when you are about to go on vacation those carefully protected and established time boundaries about work - the ones you set for yourself so you can keep balance in your life - go right out the window as you try to get everything done that remains on your to do list? The tone was similar to that of Crouching Tiger (with excellent plo...

The Chronicles of Garnabus: April 2007
http://garnabus.blogspot.com/2007_04_01_archive.html
The Chronicles of Garnabus. Sunday, April 29, 2007. Sermon of 29 April 2007. Readings: Acts 9:1-6, (7-20), Psalm 30, Revelation 5:11-14, John 21:1-19. Our readings today are two of my favorite readings from our Easter season cycles. While Saul’s is a more obvious story of calling and conversion, both stories demonstrate a profound example of God’s call, and specifically Christ’s call to us to carry on his work in the world. Spiritually blinded by the devastation of his false vision, and physically blinde...
