Egbedore Local Government Ward 7 made up of Iwoye/Ekuro/Idoo Origo has been in existence since the creation of the Local Government. The Ward has well over 2000 voters with about five polling units all located in various areas in more than ten villages. Hon Dada Philip Adegbenro who is a Special Adviser is the link with the present administration from the ward. The public primary and secondary schools in the ward are as follows:. Community High School,(SNR) Iwoye. Community High School, (JNR), Iwoye.

Ward 8 represented by Hon. Salawudeen Sarafadeen Adebayo, the Supervisor for Special Duties is made up of Ikotun, Olope and over ten other villages. The performance of students in examinations has been fair but with the newly introduced education policies in the state, hopes are that there will be better performance in subsequent examinations.
