【EGFとは】効果や化粧品としての役割！
EGF ヒトオリゴペプチド-１ とは Epidermal Growth Factor の略称で、肌の表面部での成長の因子を意味するタンパク質の1種です。 EGFは通常 上皮成長因子 と呼ばれますが、 上皮細胞増殖因子 や 上皮細胞成長因子 、 細胞再生因子 と言われることもあります。 また、ヒトに存在する因子であるためhEGF ヒトオリゴペプチド １ とも呼ばれます。 受容体は、EGFR Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor といい上皮成長因子受容体と呼ばれています。 EGFは、肌表面にある 受容体 と結びつくことによって、新しい細胞の生成を促進する効果を発揮するのですが、受容体には、EGFが細胞内で飽和状態となると余分な EGFを受け入れることができなくなるという自動調節機能が備わっている為です。 EGFが 上皮成長因子 であることはすでに紹介しましたが、h-EGFとは ヒト上皮成長因子 であり、正式名称は ヒトオリゴペプチド-1 と言います。 EGFと並び知られている FGF は 線維芽細胞増殖因子 とも呼ばれ、EGFと同じく私たちの体内で作られるタンパク質の1種です。
