Chunky Mamil: February 2015
http://chunkymamil.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, 22 February 2015. Up early, no cycling today my less than perfect lungs are having some function issues but hey I can always walk and go and take some pictures. I ventured up to the Brendon Hills to take a walk along the The Mineral Line. Which has always intrigued me having come across the railway bridge at Comberow. Some years ago and thinking why is there a railway bridge in the middle of nowhere? I parked up in "Naked boy lane" the meaning better explained in this article. I retraced my steps...

Chunky Mamil: November 2013
http://chunkymamil.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, 17 November 2013. Some summer days I hide away and wait for rain to come. Sundays off are a rare treat for me so I grabbed the opportunity to get up early and hit the hills on the mtb. I didn't feel like it at first though, tired after going back on shift my and head felt clogged up with stupid thoughts, the first hill of the day felt like hard work even more than usual. Even though the legs felt like lead I still rode up them. Thursday, 7 November 2013. Dead leaves and the dirty ground. After We...

Chunky Mamil: ......I'm in the phone booth, it's the one across the hall..............
http://chunkymamil.blogspot.com/2014/11/im-in-phone-booth-its-one-across-hall.html
Thursday, 27 November 2014. I'm in the phone booth, it's the one across the hall. This year though I've had a bit more company with my friend Bonus really enjoying his cycling. We've really made the effort to go looking for new trails to ride and enjoyed it along the way and now have some great route options every time we ride. We even managed to follow a route out of a magazine. Using an app but I still took my trusty OL9 map. Just in case and we never got lost once. A cracking loop. Up into the fog on ...

Chunky Mamil: May 2014
http://chunkymamil.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Thursday, 29 May 2014. It's all downhill from here. Not blogged for a while, not really had a great deal to say and anyone who knows me personally will say I don't say that much anyway. Spring's been and gone and as the rain pours outside it must mean summers here, I've not been idle though, riding bicycles. Had a few days in Devon and had a wander and a bit of cycle around Dartmoor, it was glorious, stunning add your own superlative, youngest child even got to stand on the same rock as Sherlock. Thanks ...

Chunky Mamil: December 2013
http://chunkymamil.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, 28 December 2013. I like this tree, it sits on its own by the roadside on Dunkery Hill. It has appeared to me through mist and I've ridden by it in glorious sunshine and driving rain. Ridden the road bike a couple of times this week, once past this tree. The other time not. That's this year over cycling wise I think, achieved so much this year, thank you to those who helped me make it. I like this tree, think it's the bleak but statuesque beautiful loneliness of it.
