Wednesday, June 29, 2011. It is hard to believe we are back on American soil. As I unpacked my suitcase this morning (1:00 am was too late to do it when I got home), my shoes still had the dirt from the roads of Uganda on them and the sight of it almost made me cry. (I wonder if that violated any customs laws? How can we return to normal life after what we have seen and experienced? When I was ignorant, I was innocent; when I have knowledge, I have responsibility. So, what next? Sunday, June 26, 2011.

Saturday, June 30, 2012. It was with mixed emotions we boarded the plane yesterday in Entebbe. We're both excited about seeing our families, but sad as we leave a large part of our hearts behind. We decided to share some various pictures of our trip. In several of the blogs we may have referenced these people or places. Actually, by the time we were able to post this, we've now been home about 24 hours. Sorry for the delay and we hope you enjoy the pics! Closets are not an option and the bed is a luxury.
