Monday, October 13, 2008. Book Club Cannon Beach Trip 2008. Vivian is making Pumpkin Scones with Craisin Butter, they were fabulous! Vivian and Maribeth making breakfast, Maribeth with her "missionary" polka dots. I went for a power walk with Maribeth. The hail storm was even more powerful. Vivian and I are serving up pot roast for dinner. Garna, Sanna, Vivian, me, Diana, Gloria, Lynn (Maribeth is behind the camera). Gloria, Diana and Sanna are happily washing dishes. Friday, March 20, 2009. Far-away Places with Strange Sounding Names". On the River Nidelven in Trondheim. Many of the old storehouses were destroyed by fire. New ones have been sandwiched in rather nicely, I think. My Novik's and Forberg's hail from a small island in the Trondheimsfjord. A lovely and serene place called, Hjelle in More og Romsdal. .
