It is amazing to me how much there is to consider about how and why people learn in the way that is unique to them. Identifying with a learning theory or a learning style is really just the tip of the ice burg in regard to the learning process. It is at the intersection of prior knowledge, experience, perception, reality, comprehension, and flexibility that learning occurs. (Davis, et. al, 2008).
