Friday, 16 November 2012. The last of my Cosmetics Fairy polish haul (I got mostly make up this time). Persistent Putty. Is it brown? I'd call it minx. I think. I do like it though. I find with NYC polishes the first coat is terrible, very thin and patchy. But on the second coat it transforms! I can see this as being an everday wearer, since you could add anything too it! Thursday, 24 January 2013. It's so cold out still, we've had quite a heavy snowfall over the last week. It's making my skin so dry so appologies in advance! Today I have a england's Elaine and Holy Grail Limited Edition. Elaine is a gorgeous purple which I could happily wear as my everyday polish. 2 Coats and it's super shiny (this photo is without top coat). I've needed a gold polish for a while and when I saw the original Holy Grail was on sale I had to have it! Posted by Tinks 1983. Drop me a line!

Sunday, 19 April 2015. It has been an extremely long time. You may be surprised to see this post. I won't lie, I'm surprised to be writing it. Time has passed by but my love of nail art hasn't. I am currently taking some time out of work for my health and as part of my recovery I've been advised to take up a hobby. So I'm back, I plan to post at least 3 times a week. Wednesday, 13 May 2015. A few new designs. So as I mentioned I've been off work for a little while. So over the last 2 weeks (I know I know) I've been trying some new designs, mostly from online inspiration. My hands and nails are quite poorly at the moment, lots of splits and peeling :( so I'm painting on false nails (My lovely friend donated me her left overs from kits), I've got a few wheels too so plenty to practice on. Thursday, 20 December 2012. For my santa suits I used OPI's Wocka Wocka. I think its a bit too dark red but hey ho. The fluff, buttons and belt are acrylic paint. Posted by Tinks 1983. Monday, 17 December 2012. Ahh the christmas break is here! So what better time to get a snowy manicure! I used Colour Club foils in Cold Metal and Lumin-icent sponged over barry m white. When they dried I added a top coat and dug out my acrylic paints for the snow flakes and threw in a few rhinestones too. Drop me a line!

Wednesday, 5 June 2013. Uni is finished and I'm awaiting results. So in the time until graduation I get to work on my nails again! Have you seen the new Barry M Gelly polishes? I'd seen them around and finally picked up 3 on Friday. I've become obsessed with Papaya. It's a coral colour which is perfect for the summer that seems to finally have arrived. Here I'm wearing 3 coats of Papaya topped with Barry M pink iridescent glitter and a leopard style pattern in white acrylic paint. Posted by Tinks 1983.
