The Moore the merrier: April 2012
http://the-rambling-post.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
The Moore the merrier. Monday, April 02, 2012. I asked my midwife how she determines the length of labor. It's different with each birth professional. Some only count when contractions are 3 minutes apart or less, but the end of my labor never got to that point. Others count when the cervix dilated with the contractions. So.going with that one, let's see. So from that round, I had dilated to 3 cm, and was ordered to take it easy so the baby didn't come while I was sick. And I worried and wondered if it w...

The Moore the merrier: February 2013
http://the-rambling-post.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
The Moore the merrier. Saturday, February 16, 2013. So before Christmas, he had another round of croup, and we talked to the pediatrician about it. She just checked his tonsils, said they looked fine, maybe it was his adenoids. I knew in my gut it wasn't anything like that. I had hoped for a more definitive answer before any major problem occurred. One of the scariest moments of my life! He was still wheezing though, and I wanted him checked out. He was seen first by a respitory therapist. His ox...So we...

The Moore the merrier: What a pain
http://the-rambling-post.blogspot.com/2013/04/what-pain.html
The Moore the merrier. Sunday, April 07, 2013. So I put it out of my mind to focus on Easter weekend with the kids. Easter Bunny visits on Saturday, and I woke up that morning to excited kids in a sugar rush.and a fever for me. By Sunday morning, we weren't happily getting ready to go to church and feel the spirit of the resurrected Christ. Instead, I was on my way to the ER with a 102 fever. One of the men had asked if I was ok, James informed them we just left the hospital, and I proceeded to throw up ...

The Moore the merrier: December 2012
http://the-rambling-post.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
The Moore the merrier. Sunday, December 23, 2012. We haven't had any family pictures for 2 years now. In that time kids have lost teeth, grown new teeth, a new person was added to our family, and personalities have matured in a way that the people in the pictures aren't the same. So much change and growth documented in picture lapse of 2 years! At the beginning of 2012 we said we were so excited, it had to have been better because of the trials we went through last year. But we were proven wrong....We've...

The Moore the merrier: Perfectly flawed
http://the-rambling-post.blogspot.com/2013/04/perfectly-flawed.html
The Moore the merrier. Friday, April 12, 2013. A waterbearer in India had two large pots, one hung on each end of a pole, which she carried across her neck. One of the pots had a crack in it. While the other pot was perfect, and always delivered a full portion of water at the end of the long walk from the stream to the mistress's house, the cracked pot arrived only half full. For a full two years this went on daily, with the bearer delivering only one and a half pots full of water to her master's house.

The Moore the merrier: August 2012
http://the-rambling-post.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
The Moore the merrier. Wednesday, August 29, 2012. At the end of spring, the edge of our yard was thick with growth. It was a warm winter, rainy spring, and our woods thickened up with all that richness. Green was aplenty. To see the full picture, click on it. The blog only shows a portion.). So were the snakes! The day I found the snake that close to where the kids frolick, was the day this city girl decided to get a goat. Loki has been a surprising addition. He has even been loaned to the neighbors...

What Next?: May 2011 - Lebanon [Beirut]
http://christinetheriault.blogspot.com/2012/01/may-2011-lebanon-beirut.html
Just exploring life one experience at a time. Sunday, January 22, 2012. May 2011 - Lebanon [Beirut]. The next day we finally made it to Beirut to check out the city. Meagan and I took a taxi downtown and grabbed lunch at a cute little cafe. I was really surprised at how new a lot of the buildings and area is in Beirut. I'm not really sure what I expected, actually. But I didn't expect it to be so modern and high fashion. Some call it "the Paris of the Middle East". Clock in the center of the city. Sara a...

What Next?: May 2011 - Lebanon [The Big Day]
http://christinetheriault.blogspot.com/2012/01/may-2011-lebanon-big-day.html
Just exploring life one experience at a time. Sunday, January 22, 2012. May 2011 - Lebanon [The Big Day]. So - the whole reason I decided to go to Lebanon was because my cousin Jennifer was getting married. "Why Lebanon? Everyone asks. Well - Elias is from Lebanon (duh! Jen and Elias met in Montreal (and currently live in Morocco) but decided they wanted to get married back in Lebanon. She is such a wonderful person and it was fun to see her so happy! Mel, Uncle Greg, Jen, Aunt Colette. They were married...

What Next?: May 2011 - Lebanon [Day After]
http://christinetheriault.blogspot.com/2012/01/may-2011-lebanon-day-after.html
Just exploring life one experience at a time. Sunday, January 22, 2012. May 2011 - Lebanon [Day After]. The day after the wedding.we slept in. Everyone recovered from the long, fun night. And then we [the family] were invited to meet Jen and Elias for a late lunch up in the mountains - in Faraya. It was colder up there and also beautiful. Lunch was also amazing. Like all the food that I had in Lebanon. Loved it! After we ate, Elias' family took us to this lookout area and we [I] took a bunch of pictures.
