Bootiful Tings: A guide to making sloe gin
http://bootifultings.blogspot.com/2013/12/sloe-gin-making.html
Tuesday, 5 November 2013. A guide to making sloe gin. I've made sloe gin for the first time this year. We're abandoning the hell that is Christmas shopping in favour of homemade hampers. As well as sloe gin I'm doing flavoured oils, jam, biscuits and fudge! Sloes are easy to identify, their plump berries look like juicy purple grapes. Try to pick around 400g to make one 1litre of gin. Next add 225g of caster sugar. Then pour over 1 litre of good quality gin. Secure the lid and shake well. View my complet...

http://bootifultings.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 18 January 2012. I know it's bloody freezing outside. As I write this I'm snuggled up in bed under three blankets and a hairy dog! Friday, 13 January 2012. Apologies for my absence. Apologies for being rubbish and not posting for ages! I have a good excuse, for my 30th birthday I got the best present ever – a puppy! It’s been a lot of hard work getting this launched but it’s very exciting and I hope to share the results with you soon. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). On this blog you'll find all th...

Bootiful Tings: February 2011
http://bootifultings.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, 24 February 2011. I recently bought this crochet collar jersey dress from Topshop. It's one of those dresses that looks quite nice on the hanger but looks much better on. It's perfect for casual nights out and even work, if you don't have dress too corporate that is. I wear it with tights, brogues or ballet pumps. To buy it yourself click here. It's been a while since my last blog but I've not been sitting on my arse watching Eastenders I promise! Not much more say really. Labels: Things to make.

Bootiful Tings: January 2014
http://bootifultings.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 7 January 2014. Our special Christmas getaway. We decided to be highly pretty unsociable this Christmas and just go away with our hairy child, aka Border Terrier called Baxter. We'd looked at lots of cottages but with couldn't find any small enough (and reasonably priced enough) for just two people and a dog. After looking on Canopy and Stars. We found a little place in near Launceston in North Cornwall called Spring Park. Above: the exterior of our boudoir. Below: the cosy vintage bed inside.

Bootiful Tings: July 2011
http://bootifultings.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Monday, 25 July 2011. Nicest biscuits in the world.ever! I have delevoped a strange craving lately of things that are both sweet and salty at the same time. Think honey roasted peanuts and sea salt flavored chocolate, hmmm! I think it's probably down to the fact that I'm getting older and sadly I can't eat as many sweet things as I used to. Gordon Ramsey's Rosemary Shortbread. 340g plain flour, plus extra for rolling. 1/4 tsp fine sea salt. 225g unsalted butter, softened. 2 tbsp chopped rosemary leaves.
