Who should attend an Engaged Encounter. The programme is for couples of any age, who are preparing to marry. And are mature enough to believe their good relationship can become even better. For couples planning to be married in the Catholic Church. Marriage preparation is compulsory. Other programmes are available but it is our belief that the Engaged Encounter weekend offers a unique and intensive experience to couples. WHAT HAPPENS ON ENGAGED ENCOUNTER?

When should we book? The ideal time to experience the weekend is. 3-6 months before the wedding. Fee includes lodging for two nights’ (double occupancy with another person of your gender), three meals on Saturday, breakfast on Sunday, and all materials needed for the weekend. Please be sure to book early to avoid disappointment. The cost of the weekend is dependent on the venue. For bookings, please contact: Peter and Beryl Lategan. 26 Oct 2009 02:06am. How long have you been together. 2 years and 4 months. How long have you been engaged for. I'm thinking Septemberish of 2011. Happiest thing about being engaged so far. Looking at my fiance and knowing he'll soon be my husband. Also, getting to officially join all the crap I've been lurking on. Saddest or scariest thing about being engaged so far. My best friends reactions were pretty lack luster. They were more excited about an acquaintance of ours getting married. June 18th, 2010.
