My name is Steve Scott. I'm an independent contractor in San Diego, CA, and I develop embedded systems software and FPGAs. I've worked quite a bit recently with Texas Instruments DSPs and development tools, and get really excited about anything related to DSP. Aside from DSP applications, most of the embedded software I've developed in the last few years has run on embedded Linux. Almost as much fun as writing code! Before I got into biking, I took martial arts for 17 years. I studied classical Korean Tang Soo Do, founded in the U.S. by Master Jong H. Lee in the early 1960's. A high-school knee injury eventually caught up with me, thus the knee surgery. After surgery my knee tolerated biking better than kicking, so I hung up my gi and climbed on the bike. Oh yeah, and she has a Masters Degree in Math from UC San Diego. I ride for the Cycling Science. Bike team. Sean Burke.
