English9-2008-LouisL: 'To Live'

http://english9-2008-louisjfl.blogspot.com/2008/10/to-live.html

Tuesday, October 28, 2008. I think the title of the movie, 'To live', emphasizes and summarizes the whole point of the characters stories in the film; why we need to live: the joy and the value of life.  There would be less point on Fugui. English9-2008-LouisL: October 2008

http://english9-2008-louisjfl.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html

Tuesday, October 28, 2008. Practicing advanced composition techniques for 6th grade material. I could feel tears in my eyes, trickling down my face and dripping onto the book. It was midday when she saw it, hanging off the railfence with tattered skin drooping and staring basketball eyes. Buildings seemed to replace trees, bleached white and dilapidated. The burning ashes covering th floor; a little flame on the bundle of hair. Jake glided towards her. Dog had a keen snese of smell for chlorinated water.
