To try out at least one new recipe every week. Sunday, February 12, 2006. This recipe was suggested on the WW forum as a low point and cheap (my focus at the moment! Meal idea. So far so good . it is currently on the stove getting very close to the "simmer" stage. I have also mint to use as a garnish, and when adding the stock, I was very tempted to add fresh ginger for some reason too. I used the last of my ginger in some dahl last week, so might try that next time. POINTS value per serve 1.

I have pumpkin, I have spinach and I've read recommendations for this recipe on a blog or in a forum somewhere. The recipe is from the WW site. Spinach and Pumpkin Curry. Serves 4 (2 pts per serve). 300g canned chickpeas, drained. 105g WW pink salmon, drained, flaked. 1 red capsicum, finely chopped. 2T WW balsamic dressing. Black pepper to taste. In a medium bowl combine the chickpeas and salmon. Stir in the snow peas and capsicum. Gently stir through the balsamic dressing. Sprinkle with black pepper if desired. Posted by l15a @ 2:09 PM.

To try out at least one new recipe every week. Tuesday, January 31, 2006. I made this recipe this afternoon, based upon the one in Skinny Latte's Cook Book. I didn't ice it, and only used 1/2C sugar . probably a bit more would be a bit nicer so have documented it below using 3/4C. I also look forward to trying this with banana/carrot, or banana/pear. POINTS value per serve 2.5 (without icing). 1/4 cup low fat vanilla yoghurt. 1/3 cup apple sauce. 2 medium bananas, mashed. 2 cups white self raising flour.
