Enjoying The Simple Things. Just another WordPress site. January 2, 2017. Have you ever purchased something just because you liked the packaging? Normally I wouldn’t, but while shopping at one of those big box, big surplus, giant bottles of pickles place, I saw this tin of French cookies. And the pictures and writing just caught my eye. I thought that once the cookies were gone, this would make a cute vase filled with flowers, while dining outside this summer. Now, will I keep the tin and actually use it?

Saturday, January 11, 2014. I got my January race booked! I wanted one towards the end of the month to give me time to recover.from having a baby.and then build up a bit of strength! I found one on the 25th of January. It's a 4 miler.so it will be hard to get a time and improve it! I will have to look at what time I run/walk per mile! This first race will be mostly walking! I am also trying to lose 35 lbs. So I have really changed my eating.and cutting out the sugars! So far.it's working! Now for my goal!

Enjoying the Small Things. Wednesday, January 2, 2013. Life in the Convent. Boy, I've missed blogging. I thought I'd take some time during my vacation to reflect on the past 4 months and let you know a little bit about my life at the convent. In short, it is really great! I am very happy.
