Wednesday, July 9, 2008. Well, I am almost done with my 3 rd week of residency, and so far I have a love/hate relationship with my new life. I love the fact that I am no longer a student! I was soooooo sick of going to a rotation and seeing patients, writing progress notes and history and physicals on them and then have them not count for a damn thing. I got to intubate a patient, do 2 thoracentesis (pull fluid off lungs) and do 2 arterial lines (not that big of a deal as it seems to be a rather hit or miss procedure, yet fun just the same) just today. Friday, April 10, 2009. Today all of the cousins came over and we took their pictures and hunted easter eggs. It was a lot of fun. There are two new babies in the family that have both came in the last six weeks so we thought we should get them all together for a picture for Papa and Nani Hulsey. How precious each one of these chidren are and how blessed we are to be their parents. All of the Hulsey cousins. Savannah looks happy to get flowers, but not Shaylee. Way to go Shaylee! They all look adorable!

Monday, December 22, 2008. The always beautiful Mesa temple lights! Two weeks ago Boyd, Jaime, Kason and Hadley came down for the weekend. We got to take the kids to the temple. When we were getting ready to go Shaylee asked "Where are we going? I replied "To the temple." And Shaylee got all excited and said "We're getting married tonight! So cute. I love it! We had a great time. All four kids oohed and aahed the whole time and we went in the visitors center and watched a film on the Savior's birth!

Saturday, January 3, 2009. We also spent New Years at the lodge. It was a lot of fun and A LOT of eating. We watched Nepolian Dynamite. My dad had never watched it before, that was fun. The kids stayed up playing but didn't make midnight, that's ok, they're still a little young for that!
