We first heard Maddie’s heartbeat when I was 7 weeks and 2 days pregnant. We found out we were having a girl when I was 26 weeks pregnant. Maddie was born 3 days before her due date. My favorite food during my pregnancy was Skyline Chili (which really sucked because it was next door to my doctor’s office). My pregnancy in a word: Textbook. Giving birth in a word (or two): Worth it.
