Ennos Sapphire - Dorian I. Wednesday, December 7, 2011. Abusow's on Dorian I - 2011. Cathy and Alex joined us once again along with Grandson Nathan for a week on the boat. Our first night was at Squirrel Cove (which is usually the case due to it's proximity to Campbell River); the weather looked like it was going to be great for our cruise. While cruising along on our way to Von Donop Inlet we came upon a number of seals basking in the sun so stopped for a visit. They didn't invite us in for tea.

One place that is delightful to visit is Conover Cove on Wallace Island. We'd attempted to explore it a couple of times in the past but always found it overcrowded, so a warm day in February seemed to be the perfect day to poke our bow in for another attempt. Ennos Sapphire - Dorian I. Wednesday, May 26, 2010. The & %$#$& Hot Water Tank. Down this hatch to eventually get to the hot water tank. An immediate right turn (to port) starts the journey to the hot water tank. Way down there at the end behind everything is the old hot water tank. This is all that Don saw of Conrad for three days. The old tank out and resting in the cockpit. The rusted piece is all that remained of the tank bottom. The tank is gone but not the rust. Cleaned up and ready for the new tank.

The weather was not as pleasant as last year's but we did get some nice cruising in. After arriving at Squirrel Cove for the first night at anchor the dinghy was launched and Douglas and Sherry began their first exploration of the summer.
