The options guidelines give detailed guidance on each of the four FWAs offered by Gap Inc.:. Allows employees to vary the start and end times of their standard work day. Employees work less than 100% of full-time (e.g., fewer than 5 full days per week) on a regular basis with compensation and benefits prorated. Compensation and Benefits Implications. Frequently Asked Questions about Reduced Workweek. What’s the difference between a reduced workweek and part-time employment? Not all reduced workweeks are part-time. At Gap Inc. part-time is defined as working less than 75% of full-time. If an employee is working less than fulltime, workload and compensation will be adjusted. If the reduced workweek is below 75% of fulltime, then the employee is part-time and the employee will be ineligible for many benefits.
