Four months in Botswana. Archives for the month of: January, 2012. January 25, 2012. This picture was taken before the school term started. The word in the sign Dumela means Hello or welcome in Setswana. And in the entire school, there’s only about 3. The other kids come from Botswana, Mozambique, Zambia, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Australia, and more. It’s a very nice school. I’ll add some pictures in the next few days of the school and its campus. Plot 2523. Botswana. Standard 6B’s winning attributes. March 22, 2012. Some days in Botswana words escape me. They seem to just wander off into the bush in search of a shady spot or they roost in a tree, along with the doves and the weaver birds, and I am left speechless or, at best, holding a tin bucket filled with clichés.
