Friday, February 13, 2015. Waiting for Junior - Month 17. It's been exactly 4 weeks since we first saw Junior's handsome face! This is what we've been up to this month, working toward bringing Junior home:. The first big step was filing our "Petition to classify Orphan as Immediate Relative" with USCIS. Wednesday, July 29, 2015. No More Waiting for Junior. It is hard to put into a few short paragraphs just how many miracles needed to occur for this happen. And yet after waiting for it for almost 700 days, Junior will become our son next week Tuesday. Thank you for your love, prayers, and support during this long and challenging journey. What our hearts have known for a long time, an Ethiopian judge made official yesterday morning and he became our son. An orphan no more.
