http://houseofbogwitz.blogspot.com/2014/07/loving-my-winter-sundays.html
Sunday, July 13, 2014. Loving My Winter Sundays! Looks like I may actually be getting back into the habit of blogging again - don't hold your breath though! A 'sleep-in' of sorts begins by Sundays now. that's a 6/6.30 rising, instead of 5/5.30. trust me, that's a good thing! Warm coffee, the wood fire burning, a cooked breakfast (today it's cheese pancakes and sour cream with fresh spring onions), then slow morning of pottering/playing/tidying together as a family before having naps and down time. Day tr...

House of Bogwitz: December 2012
http://houseofbogwitz.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, December 29, 2012. Fantastic weather here today, for getting things done. Low 20's and overcast. Happy me! Parsley (take 2 too), spring onions, basil. and. ah yes, cucumbers. Other kitchen plans for today include making up a couple of Tuna Bakes for the fridge, straining and freezing lamb broth, sorting the fridges to make the menu plan for the next few days. And of course, a few more loads of dishes! Saturday, December 1, 2012. Sometime back, I posted on my personal FB page a rhetorical questi...

Ditchin' the Kitchen: Dad's New Truck
http://ditchinthekitchen.blogspot.com/2014/10/dads-new-truck.html
Friday, October 17, 2014. So today our family is on a little trip to pick up Dad's new vacuum truck for his business. The boys have the day off school so they get to go with us. All in all a fun time. But getting this truck got me to thinking about how my 40 year old boy isn't much different than my 7 and 9 year old boys. When you are a boy age nine or seven. What puts you in seventh heaven? Playing in the dirt, or getting grass stains. Jumping in a puddle after it rains. Breaking the rules, never abiding.

the Torrents Times: We'll always remember that day!
http://torrentsfamily.blogspot.com/2011/09/well-always-remember-that-day.html
Friday, September 23, 2011. We'll always remember that day! Isn't it always the way that when bad things happen you can later look back and, well make a good story of it! This is what happened on this particular day! We had packed up and left Burrum River ready for a 2 hr drive North. We were only 10 minutes down the road when all of a sudden a loud screech sounded, followed with a bang and the caravan dragging behind us! We quickly started to pull over! It's only a flat/blown tyre everyone, it's ok!

House of Bogwitz: Thermomix Usage #2
http://houseofbogwitz.blogspot.com/2014/07/thermomix-usage-2.html
Thursday, July 10, 2014. Today I chopped 4 jumbo onions.1 at a time for about 1 second each, and chopped 2 zucchini PERFECTLY on about speed 4 for a few seconds. I've been doing them too fast till now which makes the pieces too small AND leaves a couple of chunks not chopped. So let's call today 2 uses, even though the onions were for the equivalent of 4 batches of soup! 11 uses over 2 days.5.5 uses a day. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Be inspired to cook!
