Monday, November 11, 2013. Since we have been asked a few times, here's the story of Harper's name:. My OB was on call at the hospital all weekend so we missed him by half an hour (he was off at 6am) so I had the new on call doctor. I don't think we could have been luckier. Friday, September 6, 2013. Weight- 13.7 pounds. Diaper Size- size 2. Clothes Size- 6 months. First- Pack family reunion, pony ride, trip to Costco, trip to the museum, waving, clapping. First frozen fruit bar. She loved it! We spent most of the summer swimming. She loves "hiding" under her blanket. She giggles when you find her. Football with daddy. She controls the remote. Pony rides at This is the Place. She loves to read. She was teaching her monkey about how other monkeys live in the jungle.

Wednesday, June 25, 2014. When it was our turn, we went back to the pre-op room. Lucy changed into a gown and the nurse got her vitals and gave her IB Profin and Tylenol. Since she couldn't eat before, she signed for more after the nurse was done. When she couldn't have more her signs got more intense! Her new thing to do is fist pump while chanting things. Devin took the week off to take care of the kids. They had a toga party. Hopefully there was no alcohol involved, but that blue solo cup makes me wonder. She was 7 lbs 1 oz and 20 1/4 inches long. It's so crazy to think that in a few hours you can go from this. I love screaming newborn pictures! Eli the most excited Big Brother of all!
