Ev's 6 month adventure. Tuesday, January 27, 2009. Don't cry for me. The town of Mendoza itself is a relatively big city (3rd city of Argentina) with a huge nightlife. The first night we didn't venture too far from home but went for that all important first Argentinian 'steak'. I asked the waiter what he'd recommend from the menu which pr. As I write this, I'm sat in our hostel in El Chalten, on our last night here, waiting for the latest Indiana Jones to start. Thoughts of home aside, our last few days in Rio were more 'touristy' than our previous visit, which was spent in a state of inertia due to the many late nights of carneval.
