It simply is not fair to compare a difficult/cold and windy summit attempt on one man with a very clear/cool day on another mtn. Just another WordPress.com site. It is difficult to imagine but we dropped 20,000 ft from the 19th summit at 29,000 ft to our arrival at Lukla on May 24/12 at 9,000 ft. With the onset of the Monsoons we are awaiting an opening in the weather before we can fly to Kathmandu. Even the helicopters cannot land here. Hope to return to Colorado soon.
