Though my initial research was not aimed at finding stone markers on the Mason-Dixon Line, I've been fortunate enough to uncover quite a few - 32 is my current total (November, 2008). 1 Intersection of Tangent Line and Transpeninsular Line. The stone that marks the southwest corner of Delaware. See my page of the eastern end of the Transpeninsular Line. This marker lies along the highway.

Books, Adventure and Life. Tuesday, October 28, 2014. Written during a short walk before work on…. Boards clatter as they are dropped in a pile. A back-up alarm beeps on a truck or a tractor. On a distant road, tires go speeding by. All trying to cover up the chirps of the birds and the insects. There is no wind today. The sun provides above normal temperatures. A few wispy clouds drift by. A short distance away, a squirrel runs through the leaves to his next tree. I try to shut out the man-made noise.
