The RV Lifestyle: February 2011
http://thervlifestyle.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 2, 2011. Today we celebrated Thereasa's birthday. We had a crowd of 12 people for the festivities, starting with coffee, cake and other goodies. In the afternoon 10 of us went to eat at the Cracker Barrel for a late lunch. John and Karen had to leave early and did not make it for lunch. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). We are a retired couple spending our time with grandchildren (5 girls in Michigan and 2 boys and a girl in South Carolina). We also build and fly homebuilt airplanes.

The RV Lifestyle: Waiting on weather
http://thervlifestyle.blogspot.com/2011/04/waiting-on-weather.html
Monday, April 11, 2011. Our motorhome parked with a view of the lake. We have seen some beautiful sunsets from the front window of the motorhome. The dogwoods are in full bloom. This is a wisteria vine and smells nice, also found in the campground. A fishing tournament was held at the State Park for 3 days. Fishers of Men is a Christian organization and 143 boats participated. The biggest bass caught was almost 10 lbs. At 6 am, the boats are gathered to launch and then come back at 3 pm for the weigh-in.

The RV Lifestyle: October 2010
http://thervlifestyle.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 22, 2010. The paint job is finished, all decals installed. Wings are back on and moved the airplane outside. I flew it this afternoon to try out any changes. Found out the prop has a little more pitch, but we'll fly it like that. Here are some pictures. Wednesday, October 20, 2010. Paint job almost finished. Here it is just off the scales. It still needs the star and bars decals installed. A view of the other side. This shows the Air Training Command decal on the vertical stabilizer.

The RV Lifestyle: August 2010
http://thervlifestyle.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 16, 2010. Here is our motorhome in the grass next to a hangar with a view of cows and a cornfield. The aircraft without wings or vertical stabilizer and rudder. The green parts are the new skins installed. The aircraft has also been modified to fly with turboprop engines. Turbine engines run on Jet-A fuel, which is so much easier to get overseas than Avgas. I am working on installing nutplates on some smaller parts that will be installed in the aircraft later. Sunday, August 8, 2010.

The RV Lifestyle: Halloween
http://thervlifestyle.blogspot.com/2010/11/halloween.html
Monday, November 1, 2010. We left the motorhome at JAARS and came home to Michigan for about 10 days. This was initiated by the need for some dental work, which we thought would be better to get done at home. It also allowed us to see our children and grand kids for a Halloween get-together (making a candy haul! And we will also be here for Sarah's and Carolyn's birthdays. We'll be going back to JAARS on the 6th or 7th. Then to Fort Pierce, FL on the 15th. Kate joined the party as a Candy Korn.
