Saturday, January 02, 2010. Huskers 09, Looking Back. The '09 season wasn't a great season performance wise for the Huskers. Don't get me wrong it was a lot better than most of the teams we fielded over the decade but it was a building year mainly for the offense. The offense was pretty bad most of the season, the Iowa State game was a definite low for the O. Overall I feel that the Huskers are a lot better off than they were a year ago. I really can't wait for next season. Tuesday, October 16, 2007.

Bown's Opinion: June 2006

Saturday, June 03, 2006. Adobe v.s. Microsoft. So Adobe doesn’t want Microsoft to add it’s open PDF document encoding to the next version of Office. That is kind of strange. Open means anybody can use it right? Also adding the ability natavily to save documents from Word, Excel or any other program in the office set of tools is a good thing for Adobe, right? I am not a lawyer, but that seems more than a little off to me. Microsoft has learned from the Anti-Trust cases in Europe and the US. So if you ...

Bown's Opinion: Golfing the 500 Club Phoenix
http://www.bowns-opinion.com/2009/07/golfing-500-club-phoenix.html
Saturday, July 11, 2009. Golfing the 500 Club Phoenix. Played the 500 Club this morning. Really cool course, fairways were in amazing condition but the greens were pretty pock marked. Wish people would fix their ball marks! All and all I really liked playing the course. Had a lot of fun. Balls hit off line were easy to find and most were playable even from the desert. I would play it again but for $50 it isn't an every weekend course. Posted by Christopher W. Bown at 7/11/2009 11:56:00 AM. Got to love it!

Monday, July 13, 2009. Mesa Boogie - Made in America. I have been playing guitar for a long time now, owned a lot of guitars and almost as many amps. By far my favorite amps are Boogies. Actually my favorite is the smallest one I own, a Subway Rocket, that thing sounds amazing! But anyway check out the video below, it shows the time and heart that the guys at Boogie put in. Posted by Christopher W. Bown at 7/13/2009 06:17:00 PM. Sunday, June 14, 2009. Why Dave Mustaine will always be cool. So he did the ...

Bown's Opinion: April 2006
http://www.bowns-opinion.com/archive/2006_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 28, 2006. A very close friend of mine disappointed me this week. I was so proud of them, they had done things that I am not sure they knew they could. They have so much potential for the job they were doing and for anything they want to do in the future. But some bad decisions and things and I find that I am totally disappointed in them. I guess that the fact that I was so proud of what they had done and where they had come from in such a short amount of time made it all feel so much worse.

Bown's Opinion: February 2006
http://www.bowns-opinion.com/archive/2006_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 08, 2006. At first I thought that Disney was trying to test Al Micheals. "Lets see if this co-anchor makes him jump from the press box." I mean Joe Theisman? My selections: Berman, Tom Jackson and Stuart Scott. Or how about Stuart, Tom Jackson and Sterling Sharpe? Personality, knowledge and fun. Hell put Dan Patrick and Keith Oberman up there with a former player. That would be good TV. Posted by Christopher W. Bown at 2/08/2006 05:56:00 PM. Florida State Should be Ashamed.
