Young Toddlers - The Launching Pad

Like us on Facebook. This class consists of infants and young toddlers ranging from 12-20 months* of age with a teacher to child ratio of 1:4. Milestones: transition from baby food to table foods; sitting at the table to eat; learn to use a cup, plate, and spoon; transition from cribs to cots; and, begin washing their own hands and brushing their teeth. Toddlers thrive in a safe and predictable environment. We utilize any opportunity for outside play and adventures including buggy rides and splash day.

Like us on Facebook. The Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center is a secure facility operated by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Access is controlled by a FAA contracted security force. Parents and visitors are required to show identification upon entering the facility. The Launching Pad building is also secure via a magnetic key card security system. Persons using electronic entry cards shall not hold the door open for the admission of others, including other parents.

Parents will receive a daily Lift-Off sheet that will inform you of your child’s activities for that day and invitations and notes regarding classroom opportunities. Outside the room you will find a parent information board that will inform you of our daily schedule, menus, along with information about our weekly curriculum. NOTE: Children are placed in classes based on development not age.
