Dinsdag 30 april 2013. The first CES of the year was held at my site last Sunday. At arrival, temperatures reached -3 degrees Celsius, very cold for late April! During dawn it even reached -4. Yesterday it was only present for a short period of time because someone found it was neccesary to cross the fence and approach the Wigeons and flush them, eventhough you can see them at 25m distance from the road. Zaterdag 31 maart 2007. Een tijdje terug ondekte iemand een Zwarte spechten nest vlakbij mij woonplaats op een strikt geheime locatie. Donderdag 29 september 2011. It's just one of those days. Absolutely no migration of Common Buzzards in the air and only 3400 Chafflings made it a very dull day. The choice was easily made to go and sleep a bit at noon, a decision. I threw my bike on the ground and jumped into the car with Andre and Arvid, to Ljungen! The Pygmy Weasel was really anxious to get out of her 'den', later we found a litter of 5 cubs which she was probably trying to locate in her new nest. Woensdag 10 augustus 2011. In January and February of this year I visited Morocco for 2 weeks together with 3 birding friends. On the 9th of February we had have the entire desert, atlas and coast section plus even a bit we didn't anticipated but eventually had time for, Khniffis Lagoon. The 9th was our last day before our flight from Marrakech back to the Dutch/German border and we planned to spend it at the Souss Massa. I don't think so and would like people to tell me otherwise!
