http://momma3op.blogspot.com/2014/03/e-turns-2.html
Monday, March 31, 2014. The Monday following a full weekend is always a day to play catch-up. Fortunately, the weather is cooperating with me today (read: rainy, rainy rain rain rain) so even though more rain kind of makes me want to pull my hair out, I will say "thank you for the excuse to stay home! http://momma3op.blogspot.com/2014/03/new-shop.html
Wednesday, March 26, 2014. When I did my 7 Quick Takes featuring the dolls, momof5 wrote in the combox:. I think they are adorable. I would love to make these for my grandchildren. Would you consider making a pattern and selling it? I think there is a big Catholic audience for these if you market them.". Download basic pattern here! Second of all, I have a hard time with "intellectual property rights." If someone sees something that I am doing and you want to do it- go right ahead! Thanks for all the gre...

http://www.ourabclife.com/2014/06/metaphysical-discussions-with-4-year-old.html
Monday, June 9, 2014. Metaphysical Discussions with a 4 year old. This morning at breakfast E kicked off the morning conversation with a:. Mama, I don't wanna to go to hell" {please note 'hell' in a very Southern accent}. I followed with I didn't want to go to hell either so that is why it is important to obey God and part of obeying God is listening to Mama and Papa and praying and being nice to other people etc etc. Then somehow the conversation turned to Jesus being in heaven. His love for us is so mu...

Seven Quick Takes {vol. 1} | God and Chocolate
https://godandchocolate.wordpress.com/2012/11/09/seven-quick-takes-vol-1
God and chocolate is better than just God. St. Teresa of Avila. What are you talking about? November 9, 2012. Seven Quick Takes {vol. 1}. 8212; 1 —. The election happened. Well, America…not what I expected. But what can you do? One more lesson not to place my hope in [lame] politicians and only in Christ. We’ve found renewed zeal to focus on our family and getting involved in our local community this week, so the outcome hasn’t been all bad. 8212; 2 —. 8212; 3 —. I think so. The problem is that my da...

Bumps Along the Way: Christmas treats - Oreo Truffles
http://happinessinthecrapiness.blogspot.com/2013/12/christmas-treats-oreo-truffles.html
Wednesday, December 4, 2013. Christmas treats - Oreo Truffles. I don't like working with melted chocolate but despite that these end up on my Christmas treat schedule every year. They are fairly easy especially once you get into a dipping groove. And people are usually pretty impressed by homemade truffles. They probably take about an hour of hands on work time. Yield: depends on ball size but I got 45 on my batch this year. About 8oz melting chocolate. 5) Melt the chocolate in a saucepan over the stove ...
