Knits with a silent K: September 2009
http://knitswithasilentk.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Knits with a silent K. Knitting (not as much as I wish), crafting, and other musings. Tuesday, September 22, 2009. FO: Yet Another Baby Hat. Originally uploaded by knitswithasilentk. Forgot to snap a photo. Well, it looks like this. Only in yellow and no embroidery. It actually looks the most like Niecey's hat, because I purposely used a centered double decrease to make the decreases stick out, like Brunelleschi's Dome (the Duomo in Florence), except the hat has 4 sections instead of 6. Quilt Therapy: January 2013
http://fabricsunlimited.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Fabrics Unlimited, Fort Mohave, AZ. Sunday, January 27, 2013. PERFECTION IS HIGHLY OVERRATED. One of my customers recently showed me her pinwheel block, which she referred to as her "F" block in anticipation of the grade she felt she would receive from her friend who is teaching her to quilt. She pointed to the center of the pinwheel where her points didn't match perfectly. So rather than look at what she did well, she focused on an imperfection in her block. How often do we as quilters do that? For 2013...

Quilt Therapy: July 2011

Fabrics Unlimited, Fort Mohave, AZ. Monday, July 25, 2011. Bias Quilt Binding vs Straight Quilt Binding. I recently learned that one of my quilting friends always uses bias binding on her quilts. Now I know that you must use binding whenever you are binding a curved edge, but I wondered why go to the trouble of making bias binding for straight edges? And don't you use more fabric for a bias binding? Http:/ www.fabricsunlimited.net/. Monday, July 18, 2011. 4th Annual Outdoor Quilt Show.

http://jnl4god-quiltn4fun.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 31, 2014. New FO - December. Well this is the last New FO. At least until we catch up on our UFO's and WIP's. Is that possible for a quilter. :). We didn't have Doll quilt swap this month so that isn't one of my New FO's - However I did create a couple other things this month. 1 I made a table runner. 2 I made a needle keep for a friends birthday. She likes to do red work so I put a couple of skeins of red DMC and some embroidery needles inside. Thanks so much to Barbara at Cat Patches.
