Thursday, 30 April 2009. The guy (well.I'm presuming it's a guy; they didn't leave a name) from Fire Storm Events. Has posted a pissy Myspace bulletin titled 'An Open Letter To The Glasgow Hardcore (etc) Scene'. In it, he basically calls up the hardcore scene for being apathetic and for not supporting itself (ie. not supporting his gigs). It's quite a tirade, but you can find the full C&P'd thing here, only in a slightly smaller font:. But never intend to be at said show? Its a different story on the pun...

Saturday, 23 May 2009. It was nice and sunny for about 15 minutes on Thursday afternoon. During this brief interval of summer, I went off to the GoMA to see a new exhibition that had opened that morning. Ethanol Buzzgrid' is a new collection by local artist Rob Churm. Who, as it turns out, plays guitar in Gummy Stumps. A fact which I wasn't aware of until I read a transcript of a chat between Rob and Ben Harman. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Sunday, 24 May 2009. It was Stag and Dagger. Festival yesterday. It could maybe have went a bit smoother; less hour-long queues, less random scheduling. I get the feeling that whoever sorted most of it out had no idea what the venues were like. As such, it was mobbed. Everywhere. So, I wasn't able to go for the planned photo diary thing.
