The Hill Family Blog. Matt, Carley and Jake. Tuesday, April 14, 2009. We celebrated Jake's 1st Birthday on April 2nd! We can hardly believe that he is already one! His birthday couldn't have been any better, and I think that Jake truly enjoyed himself and all of the festivities. Jake went to school on his birthday. Matt and I joined him for his afternoon snack and brought cupcakes to share with his friends. Jake's teachers had made a sign and decorated the area by his crib. It was really cute!

Am well aware that it is December (mid-December actually), but I had so many cute pictures from November that I wanted to share. And, of course, I am just now finding the time to blog. One of our friends gave Jake this chef's hat, and we couldn't resist getting out the pots and pans for him as well. He had a blast. Batman was there along with the real batmobile. Jerod Tamra Madelyne Gavin. Monday, March 29, 2010. Just wanted to share how Maddy and I spent a little of our Sunday afternoon while Gavin took a nap. Maddy discovered "Pretty Paint". She couldn't say nail polish, but paint was clear as a bell, so we went with that name! I painted her toes for the first time- she was very interested and now walks around and looks at her toes. Jerod Tamra Madelyne Gavin. Wednesday, March 24, 2010. Gavin is 1 month old! It’s amazing that Gavin turned one month old yesterday! Amazing because a month can go by so fast and seem so long at the same time! He cries much more than Maddy did and is a little more demanding that way. He sleeps well, so I am so thankful for that! Monday night he slept from 9pm til 2am, then again from 2:30am until 5:30am. The 5 hour stretch is his record so far and it felt so good to sleep longer than 2 or 3 hours! We sta...
