And Then There Were Three: November 2014
http://theduskefamily.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
And Then There Were Three. November 13, 2014. The snow has made me so itchy for Christmastime. I'm excited to get the tree out and start decorating. And don't forget Christmas cookies! November 05, 2014. We carved all three pumpkins in about thirty minuets the night before the contest. Not awesome, not terrible. Grace colored some designs on hers with markers so she did actually contribute to the decorating. They all had fun though. Thanks Auntie Rena for the pumpkins! Grace "Elsa the Fairy Princess".

And Then There Were Three: January 2015
http://theduskefamily.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
And Then There Were Three. January 07, 2015. It is still early in January so I can still post some highlights from last year, right? Hold on, it's going to be a quick trip! Cows with winter fur. Bundled against the extreme cold. Niece wins sectional and moves onto state Basketball. Micah and Grace complete one year of AWANA. Packing to move, probably 60% of our stuff. New bikes all around! Swimming at the lake in town. Micah's first time in the pedal tractor pull. My first win at the county fair. Now we ...

And Then There Were Three: Sporting Endeavors
http://theduskefamily.blogspot.com/2015/07/sporting-endeavors.html
And Then There Were Three. July 26, 2015. Our little kids tried their very first sport this summer. Grace and Micah both played T-ball for our town's summer rec program. Both of them started with zero experience and it was fun to watch them learn how baseball works. It was fun for the kids to have more people cheering for them and I got talk to them. I'm glad they had that opportunity this summer and a little sad that it is already over. We will probably try to get them into it again in the next few ...

And Then There Were Three: August 2014
http://theduskefamily.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
And Then There Were Three. August 30, 2014. This child presents his own unique challenges as far as obedience but I forget all of that when I look at his cute little face. We have had a fun summer in our new house but are excited for fall and school. Hopefully all three of the kids do well this year! August 29, 2014. It was such a nice day for a walk thru the zoo, not too hot with a little breeze. The bear was pretty interesting because he was running back and forth in his enclosure. There are a lot ...

And Then There Were Three: May 2015
http://theduskefamily.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
And Then There Were Three. May 29, 2015. Her cousin is in a different kindergarten class but they stood close enough together in the big group that we could get both of them in some pictures. In the picture below, they are both on the top row, he on the far left, her second from the right. All the songs were so cute! The theme was possibilities so they sang and talked about all the different possibilities available for their future. May 27, 2015. First tractor pull of 2015. May 11, 2015. I read it throug...

And Then There Were Three: Farming 2.0
http://theduskefamily.blogspot.com/2015/06/farming-20.html
And Then There Were Three. June 29, 2015. We explained it to him like this, if he spends his $50 on a remote control car he will have one item that will quickly break then his money will be gone. If he used it to buy a piglet, he can sell her piglets some day and increase the money he had to begin with. He liked the sound of that. Our farm will also have a flock of laying hens! Now they are moved out to the barn where we have the swine. Eric and I covered what used to be a cow maternity stall with ch...

And Then There Were Three: Spring Update
http://theduskefamily.blogspot.com/2015/03/spring-update.html
And Then There Were Three. March 20, 2015. The boys caught can cozies at the St Patty's Day parade and have been using them in an unconventional way. They are still holding out hope that I will give them a can of pop every day so they can be used for their intended purpose but until then this is how they are being used. We had a drastic weather change for a few days last week. Temps reached almost 70 for a couple of days. It is back down to the normal for this year, 25-40, but that was so nice!

And Then There Were Three: September 2014
http://theduskefamily.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
And Then There Were Three. September 12, 2014. First day of school - JJ. JJ started preschool Tuesday. Eric and I decided that we both need it. He needs some time around other kids and I need some time to recharge so I am a better mommy for him. He was so excited to take his Spiderman "suitcase" with him. As with Grace's first day of school, he was ready to hop out of bed as soon as I came in his room. I'm glad he is having fun and getting involved with kids outside of our family. . And Then There Were Three: April 2015
http://theduskefamily.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
And Then There Were Three. April 02, 2015. Saturday night was spent at my mom and dad's with my brother and his wife who happened to be there too. Church, brunch and a quick run later, I left to meet my sister in Fargo to catch our plane. Here we are about to take off from Fargo. We were so excited, you have no idea, it was crazy. The day was beautiful for running, not too hot yet and so much sunshine. The rest of the afternoon and evening were spent on Anna's deck enjoying the warm sunshine and talking&...
